4.000 lines of object-oriented Javascript code
After a few months and about 4.000 lines of object-oriented Javascript code, the Web.de freemail-client has been completely revised within the project "FM07" - till beta.

Full AJAX interface
The result was an user interface completely based on AJAX / Javascript which didn't require complete page reloads anymore and therefore was reaction-strongly and user-friendly. All of the data exchange was done in the background via Javascript / JSON.

The then just launched application Yahoo! Mail which offered an Outlook-like handling was used as a template.
